It is also the time for family reunions, free money and people with horrible Chinese pronunciation greet Gong Xi Fa Cai awkwardly. Love it.
So I went to this Bazaar in town last night. It was horrid.
Not TERRIBLY horrid, it was just stuffy.
Plus I notice tht a LOT of men wears cheap cologne.
It was like PHEW SOMEBODY PASS THE John Varvatos!
Anyway, there were lion dance performances
The one where a dude holds the other dude waist
and do awesome wushu tricks with a lion costume.
But this time, it's different.
The heads were smaller.
Well nothing interesting bout tht.
But the thing tht truly attracted me was THE EYES.
Mmmhm they attached blinking lights to the eyes of the lion head, costume, thing
It was so weird..
And for some reason they threw crackers everywhere tht gives out this revolting smell
Didn't really shocked me over why they did tht.
I knew the guys doing it.
They're immature "gangsta" posers
I didn't really pay attention to the show
Cuz i was too busy staring at a blinking light tht soared up to the sky.
Turn out it was a VERY low tech toy.
Such a disappointment. :(
